Daily total trends

Essentially, the statistical analysis of each match is a search for its trends to understand what value a metric might take. So you don't have to look at each match individually but can see the whole day, we offer a mass trend search across all matches of the day at once.

How Daily Trends for Totals Work

Daily Trends is a tool where you specify the probability, and the system shows you a table of all matches where the statistical total has already been calculated based on this probability. To do this, the totals of the teams and referees that played in the specified percentage of cases are calculated, and the match total is predicted based on them. For example, the probability "Over 80%" means that the system will take those team totals that "hit" in 80% of cases.
!
Essence of the Tool
For each match, for each of the participating teams (and for the referee), it calculates the total that "hit" in the specified percentage of cases (if you select "Over") or "did not hit" (if "Under"). Based on these totals, the possible match total is calculated.
We take each match and calculate the statistical totals. For each team and referee, we take the 20 most recent matches in the same league as the current one and see what the metric was in the percentage of cases you specified.
The statistical totals of the participants shown by the tool were reached (in Over mode) or not reached (in Under mode) in the percentage of cases you specified, meaning this is the trend.
We derive the calculated match total from the participants' totals. The calculation is simple: if you take the home team's trends and the away team's trends, with high probability the final result will not deviate significantly from this trend.
We show it all to you. In a single convenient table containing all matches of the day, so you can quickly assess the landscape and figure out where a favorable line is being offered considering the trend.
Let's look at the example above (synthetic data). It shows a fragment of the table — a specific match for which the metric is calculated based on "1st Half Corners Total Under with 80% probability".
In the last 20 matches of FC Cologne, the 1st half corners total was under 4.5 in 80% of cases, which is reflected on the right side of the row in the left gray box.
In the last 20 matches of Freiburg, the 1st half corners total was under 5.5 in 80% of cases, which is reflected on the right side of the row in the right gray box.
In the last 20 matches of the referee, the 1st half corners total was under 6.5 in 80% of cases, which is reflected on the right side of the row in the light gray box.
Based on the team and referee totals, the trend for the match total at 80% is 6.5. We calculate it in two ways, depending on the filter settings: "Sum Total" or "Individual Total".
As mentioned above, the match trend is derived from the participants' trends. Here's how:
If you selected "Individual Total" mode, the system takes only each team's own totals from their matches, without considering the opponents' totals. In this case, the match trend is the sum of the team trends, as each team contributes half.
If you selected "Sum Total" mode, the system takes the full total for each team (the team's and the opponent's). In this case, the match trend is the highest (if "Under" is selected) or the lowest (if "Over" is selected) of the team trends.
If a referee is also involved, the team trend is calculated in the same way, but the match trend is the highest (if "Under" is selected) or the lowest (if "Over" is selected) of the team trend and the referee trend.

How to Access Daily Trends

Right on the main page of 4SCORE, in the navigation tile, there is a link to the "Daily Trends" section.
1
Specify Filter Values
Filters will help you customize the report to find the needed totals. First, select the market, the total type (Under or Over), and specify the probability as a percentage from 1 to 100%, then use the filters to refine the criteria:
Date. Select which day to generate the report for. Reports are available for two days ahead, and you can get data for the upcoming days while the line is not yet heavily loaded.
Participants. You can calculate the total based only on team data for metrics where the referee's influence is not strongly pronounced, but you can also include the referee, which is relevant, for example, for fouls and cards.
All, Home and Away. Which matches of the participating teams to take for building the statistical trend — any, or only home matches for the home team and away matches for the away team, when each match is being analyzed.
Sum or Individual Total. How to search for the trend — by the teams' sum total or by individual total. The match trend calculation algorithm depends on this (we described the differences above).
2
Get the Report
The system will analyze the entire matchday (that's thousands of matches, as dozens of previous matches are analyzed for each match of the day) and produce a report.
