When analyzing football matches, trends are one aspect to consider. Team and referee performance for a given metric or market often falls within a certain range. To identify this range, 4SCORE offers the "Trends" tool.

How to view a team's statistical trends
Team trends are available on its page, which can be accessed either from the match page by clicking on the team logo, or by simply searching for the team in in this section
1
Specify filter values for match selection
Select the indicator to use for trending (e.g., goals) and the market to use for trending (e.g., under totals). In this example, the system will search for the "Under Total Goals" trend. Then, refine the match selection criteria.
Home or away. Allows you to evaluate the team's performance on its home field, or when it is away to its opponent, but you can also leave all matches
Seasons. At the end of the season, you can choose the current season for a more accurate assessment of performance in it, but if you need to take into account a lot of historical data, you can also choose previous ones.
Championships. Allows you to evaluate the performance of teams as a whole or only within the current championship in which the game is taking place
Odds for winning. Allows you to evaluate a team's performance when they are a favorite or an underdog. It can be adjusted to the match being analyzed to select similar ones based on this parameter.
Odds for winning. Allows you to evaluate a team's performance when they are a favorite or an underdog. It can be adjusted to the current match to select similar ones based on this parameter.
Positions. Allows you to select matches where a team finished in a certain range of positions in the standings. You can adjust this to the current match to select similar matches based on this parameter.
Outcomes. Allows you to select matches where a team won or lost, which can be useful if the analysis is based on small markets and the favorite is known
Number of events. How many events will the system use to generate a report? The more events, the more data for analysis, but very old matches are often useless.

Get the report
Based on the specified filter values, the system will select matches and generate a report in which:
Each line is the value of the indicator. For example, if you are building a “Total Goals Over” report, then at the beginning of each line there will be the number of goals: “Over 2”, “Over 3”, and so on.
The trend itself is shown on the right side of the line. We show the number of analyzed matches, the number of matches where the indicators correspond to the outcome in the row, where they do not correspond, and also calculate the statistical probability of the outcome in the row and the value coefficient for it.
In the image above, we generated a report based on the "Total Under Goals" trend. Note the top line, which shows the "Total Under 3" trend. The system found a total of 90 games for the team, of which 71 had a total under 3 (green flag), 19 had a total over 3 (red flag), and none had a total over 3 (gray flag). Therefore, the probability of a "Total Under 3 Goals" outcome for the team is 78%, and if you convert this probability into odds, you get 1.3. That is, if you bet "Total Under 3 Goals" on each of the games selected for analysis at odds of at least 1.3, you would break even.
How to view trends for all teams in a championship at once
The trends of teams within the championship are available on its page, which can be accessed either from the match page by clicking on the name of the championship, or simply by searching for the championship in this section. This feature can be useful if you select a match from a specific championship for analysis and want to evaluate the performance of all teams within it at once.
1
Specify filter values for match selection
Select the indicator to use for trending (e.g., goals), the market to use for trending (e.g., under totals), and the indicator value (e.g., "3"). The value is required because trends are built for all teams, but for a specific value. Filters:
Seasons. At the end of the season, you can choose the current season for a more accurate assessment of performance in it, but if you need to take into account a lot of historical data, you can also choose previous ones.
Number of events. How many events will the system use to generate a report? The more events, the more data for analysis, but very old matches are often useless.
2
Get the report
Based on the specified filter values, the system will select matches and generate a report in which:
Each line is a command. Since we are building a report on a strictly defined trend, for example, “Total goals under 3”, but for all teams at once
The trend itself is shown on the right side of the line. We show the number of analyzed matches, the number of matches where the indicators correspond to the outcome in the row, where they do not correspond, and also calculate the statistical probability of the outcome in the row and the value coefficient for it.
In the image above, we generated a report based on the "Total Goals Under 3" trend. Note the top line, which shows the "Total Goals Under 3 for Portugal" trend. The system found a total of 90 matches for the team, of which 71 had a total under 3 (green flag), 19 had a total over 3 (red flag), and none had a total over 3 (gray flag). Therefore, the probability of a "Total Goals Under 3" outcome for the team is 78%, and if you convert this probability into odds, you get 1.3. That is, if you bet "Total Goals Under 3" on each of the games selected for analysis at odds of at least 1.3, you would break even. The data in this example is synthetic.
How to view a soccer referee's statistical trends
Referee trends are available on his page, which can be accessed either from the match page by clicking on the referee's name, or by simply searching for the referee in this section

Trends for referees work the same way as for teams
Specify the market and metric in the filters, fill in the filters, and get the report. The report works on the same principle as the team report, as described in the "How to View Team Stratified Trends" section of this article.
