Sometimes it's useful to look at a match from a different angle: instead of trying to guess how many corners there will be, for example, see how many there should be based on statistics and decide what to do next. This is where the "Trend Finder" tool comes in, which serves to obtain the average statistical total for a specific metric, taking into account a given probability. In other words, it shows what total could occur in a match based on the statistics and parameters you specify, directly as a number.

How the "Match Trend Finder" Tool Works
Often, to perform a statistical analysis of a match by totals, you need to collect and process a large amount of data. The key indicators here are the home team's total at home, the away team's total away, and the referee's total — it is from these that you can draw a conclusion about the course of the upcoming match. It's logical to assume that if neither the home team, the away team, nor the referee has ever exceeded a certain total, the probability of such an event is extremely low.
!
Simple Scenario
In its simplest form, the tool can determine a total that has never been exceeded, for "Under" bets, and a total that has never been reached, for "Over" bets (100% probability). In the simplest usage scenario, set the type (Under or Over), as well as a probability value of 100%, to simply get the boundary total of the participating teams and the referee for the selected event. Attention! Even in this mode, the results of the tool are not an indication or call to place a bet and represent a reference statistical report.

Advanced Probability Settings
It's quite possible that a professional tipster creates a prediction that will win with a certain probability. For this, you can configure the total calculation that statistically won with a specified probability. In this case, the result of the algorithm is verbally formulated as, for example, "the total was under this value in such-and-such percentage of cases". The setting is done in two ways:
By Probability: switch the "Calculation" parameter to "By Probability" and specify the probability as a percentage. In this case, for the teams and the referee, the algorithm will output a total that was over or under (depending on the bet type) with the specified probability in the analyzed matches.
By Odds: works similarly to the probability calculation, but you specify the bookmaker's odds, which the machine will convert into the required probability on its own.
For the calculation, the tool selects the most recent matches of the teams and referee available in the database, but strictly before the event being calculated, taking into account the specified leagues. You can check this on the team and referee pages. The algorithm ignores matches where we don't know the value of the indicator.
How to Access the Trend Finder
Trend Finder is available on the match page in the corresponding tab. To start, select an indicator (e.g., fouls), a market (e.g., Over), and specify an argument (e.g., 17, so in this example it becomes "Total Fouls Over 17"), as well as the probability of the bet winning.

Specify Filter Values for Teams
When working with the tool, you can specify various match filtering parameters for the home and away teams. This is convenient for adjusting them to the match being analyzed. Therefore, there are two filter blocks on the page:
Home or Away. Allows you to evaluate the performance of teams at their own ground, or when they are away against their opponent, but you can also leave all matches.
Seasons. At the end of the season, you can choose the current season for a more accurate assessment of performance specifically within it, but if you need to consider a lot of historical data, you can also select previous ones.
Leagues. Allows you to evaluate team performance overall or only within the current league in which the match is taking place.
Win Odds. Allows you to evaluate the team's performance when it is the favorite or when it is the underdog. You can adjust it to the current match to select similar ones based on this parameter.
Positions. Allows you to select matches where the teams were in a specific range of positions in the league table. You can adjust it to the current match to select similar ones based on this parameter.
Match Results. Allows you to select matches where the team won or lost, which can be useful if the analysis is conducted on small markets and the favorite is known.
Number of Events. How many events the system will take to build the report. The more events, the more data for analysis, but very old matches are often useless.
2
Get the Report
Based on the specified filter values, the system will select matches and build a report, which presents:
Trend and its Description. It will explicitly show what total could statistically occur in the match, considering the data you specified — information separately for each team and the referee, as well as the final trend.
