An important metric for teams and referees is how their performance in a given area compares to other teams and referees. It's no secret that some referees are "higher" or "lower" in certain areas. Some referees give few cards, while others hand them out liberally. Ratings clearly show how teams and referees perform in a game compared to others.

How to access ratings
We compile team and referee ratings for specific championships, so the ratings are available from the championship page. To access a championship page, click on its name on the event page or use the search. The championship page contains tabs with ratings.

Select the metric for analysis and filtering options
More metrics are offered for teams, as referees can't influence all aspects of the match, and ratings, such as shots, are of questionable value to referees. Filter description:
Seasons. At the end of the season, you can choose the current season for a more accurate assessment of performance in it, but if you need to take into account a lot of historical data, you can also choose previous ones.
Total type. For teams only. Allows you to specify which indicator's total should be used for the rating: the aggregate, your own, or your opponent's. This allows you to find out which teams are increasing or decreasing their opponent's performance the most
Home or away. For teams only. Allows you to evaluate teams' performance on their home field or when they're away to their opponents
Number of events. How many events will the system use to generate a report? It's important that only events preceding the one being analyzed are selected for an event

Read the report
Please note that the table can be sorted by clicking on the column header. Not only average scores are available, but also median scores (mean scores are higher in half of the analyzed matches, and lower in the other half).
